Capacity development is the foundation of successful sustainable development.  From workforce development and capacity building for private enterprises to training and mentorship for employees of government ministries, OXUS has successfully led and implemented large scale capacity development programs across the United States, Afghanistan, and seven other countries around the world.

 

OXUS Has Been Vetted and Tested by National Governments and Organizations.

OXUS has served as prime and subcontractor on capacity development programs with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), US Department of Commerce, US Task Force for Business and Stability Operations, the Royal Government of the Netherlands, Warren Buffet Foundation and other donors.

OXUS has already created impact in capacity building, but there is so much more progress to be made worldwide.

OXUS has been key in building the strategic infrastructure for private sector development. We have achieved major milestones by identifying, training, and mentoring thousands of businesses and their executives to develop their business and technical skills. Between promoting entrepreneurship, workforce development and job creation, OXUS has created employment for over 250,000 people in sectors including agribusiness, carpet manufacturing, cashmere, saffron, gemstones, hospitality, health, construction, energy, mining and others.

 

OXUS has led program teams of over 120 OXUS consultants to implement comprehensive training and advisory to over 9,000 government employees to support ministerial effectiveness across six sector areas including: (1) Public Finance; (2) Resource Management; (3) Procurement; (4) Logistics; (5) Information Technology; and (6) Human Resource (HR) Management.

OXUS’ multidisciplinary technical advisors work with stakeholders to analyze current systems and develop practical solutions to improve performance of individuals, programs, and institutions.
